Boise Thorns ECNL Director (U13–U19)

Taylor Bodily brings more than 15 years of coaching and leadership experience to the Boise Timbers Thorns organization and is widely respected throughout the Idaho soccer community for his steady leadership, player-centered approach, and consistent track record of developing competitive teams and individuals. He currently serves as the Boise Thorns ECNL Director, where he oversees the club’s ECNL pathway from U13–U19. Taylor has played a key role in shaping the Boise Thorns ECNL platform over the years, serving in multiple leadership positions within the club before stepping into the ECNL Director role.

Taylor’s history within the club runs deep, having coached for Les Bois, Boise Nationals, FC Nova, and now Boise Timbers Thorns — organizations that collectively helped shape the club as it exists today. Across those years he has held numerous leadership roles, directed player development initiatives, and coached teams that have achieved consistent success at the state, regional, and national levels, including recent ECNL National Playoffs participation.

In addition to his club leadership, Taylor has longstanding collegiate coaching experience with The College of Idaho women’s soccer program. He also has extensive coaching experience within the Idaho Olympic Development Program and has held leadership roles over the years supporting college placement initiatives and directing college ID camps. As a player, he competed collegiately at Peninsula College, contributing to a West Division Championship team.

Taylor holds a USSF National A-Youth License, a USSF National Goalkeeping License, and a United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma. His long history within the club reflects a deep commitment to the continued success of the Boise Timbers Thorns community.
